Summer Tyres
Designed for roads above 7 °C, summer tyres use a harder compound that maximises grip and handling in warm, dry, and wet conditions.
Compound & Grip
Summer compounds stay firm above 7 °C, reducing rolling resistance and improving cornering precision. Below that temperature the rubber hardens further, making cold-weather grip unpredictable.
EU Label Ratings
Look for A or B grades on wet grip and fuel efficiency. An A-rated wet grip tyre can stop up to 18 m shorter than a G-rated one at 80 km/h — roughly the length of four cars.
